MEET MADELINE

Hey! I'm Maddy, and I'm the creator of Made by Madeline Events! I am currently pursuing my certification in Meeting and Event Organization as a part of completing my Bachelor's of Event Planning through Liberty University!
I grew up a military kid, but eventually settled in Dallas, Texas, about 10 years ago, and that is now where I call home! Ever since I was a little girl, I've lived to plan parties, design schedules, and organize fun get-togethers to bring my community and friends closer. Even if it was a simple talent show in the kitchen, I always made sure to have the audience seats set up and facing forward, or the lights bright enough to highlight whatever act I had for the week.
I knew in High School I wanted to go to school to work in planning events, so I decided to jumpstart my experience while still being a student. I started out as the community organizer for the little coffee shop I worked part-time at, communicating with PTA's and local businesses for partnerships. After a few months of that, I eventually took a spring/summer internship position with my youth pastor (us pictured in the photo) as the youth group's event coordinator. I got the incredible opportunity to travel with her, as well as planning girls' brunches, boys' movie nights, pool parties, and our big annual event, summer camp! All of these church events turned out incredibly, and seeing the joy on all the attendees' faces was truly something I can never forget.


During my first year at Liberty University, I worked for the school's events office and got to work as venue management for the wedding venue Liberty contracted! This gave me the incredible opportunity to work with couples every weekend, and help them use our space to make their day as perfect as possible. In that time, I got to gain wisdom from wedding coordinators, and even assisted in rehearsals and set up. After that first year, I came home to Dallas and had the honor of coordinating a childhood friend's wedding completely solo, and had the best time ever! The day went so smoothly, and that day solidified my love for wedding planning. After getting asked for my business card or website multiple times by different guests throughout that night, I figured it was time to start up Made By Madeline Events while I continued my education back in Texas, and the rest is history!

As a Christian, I feel called to fulfill the biblical principle of hospitality, and this career allows me to shine the light of Jesus to all the people I come in contact with as I work. I am called to be a joyful worker, not one who grumbles, and that is the mindset I will approach every project with- always a cheerful spirit!
